Ingredients
- 1 cup rava (semolina)
- 3 cups hot water
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp urad dal
- 1 tsp chana dal
- Handful cashews
- 1 tbsp chopped ginger
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 8–10 fresh curry leaves
- 1 cup mixed chopped vegetables
- Salt to taste
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- 1–2 tbsp Errakaaram™ Fresh Spicy Indian Chutney
- 1 medium tomato, chopped
- 1 tbsp ghee
- Chopped coriander leaves, for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, urad dal, and chana dal.
Step 2: Add cashews and sauté for about a minute until golden.
Step 3: Stir in chopped ginger, onions, and curry leaves; sauté till onions turn translucent.
Step 4: Add mixed vegetables, salt, and turmeric; cook for 2–3 minutes.
Step 5: Add rava and roast on low heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 6: Slowly pour in hot water while stirring to avoid lumps.
Step 7: Cook until water is fully absorbed and rava is fluffy.
Step 8: Stir in Errakaaram™ Fresh Spicy Indian Chutney and chopped tomato.
Step 9: Mix well, finish with ghee, then garnish with fresh coriander.
Step 10: Serve hot and enjoy the bold, spicy flavors!
